We are pleased to offer the following facilities to members and others.
Indoor Facilities
The Club has a fully stocked bar and kitchen area, a number of changing rooms, ladies and gentlemen's toilets and a disabled toilet. The kitchen is available for hire for events.
Events
The Club hosts various events throughout the year including monthly Country and Western Music evenings with the CM Club on the last Saturday of the month.
Sports Hall
The Club has a sports hall 80 feet by 56 feet which is available for hire by contacting the Club on 01664 - 434545 or by email to helen@asfordbyamateurs.co.uk
The Sports Hall is used for badminton, dog shows, archery, table tennis, weddings, discos and parties, football training in the winter months for Under 8’s.
Outdoor Facilities
Football
In the football season, the Club has three full size football pitches, one three quarter size pitch and two Junior football pitches and is home to a number of football clubs.
The Senior Football pitch is often used for important Leicestershire football cup games and is the home pitch for North Leicestershire Schools.
Cricket
During the cricket season the Club plays host to Asfordby Cricket Club.
Dog shows and Dog Agility
Over the summer months dog agility weekends and at other times during the year the Club hosts dog shows.
All Weather Football Pitch
Throughout the year, the Club has available an all weather football pitch with crumbed surface and this is regularly used by local people for '5 a-side' games and football training. This can also be booked by contacting the Sports Club on 01664 - 434545 during evening hours.
Petanque Court
The Club has a petanque court which is available for hire. There are two teams Asfordby Amateurs A and B who play in the Syston Friendly League.
Badminton
The Club also hosts Staveley and Fernley Badminton Clubs. Male and Female players always welcome. Call the Sports Club on 01664 - 434545 for further details.
Model Aircraft Club
Through the winter months the Club hosts Melton Flying Club.
Golden Eye Archery
This is the chance to try Archery under the supervision of a GNAS qualified community sports leader.
